Currently Scheduled AHA Classes

 

We offer initial and recertification classes for the following American Heart Association (AHA) certifications:

Family and Friends CPR
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

HeartSaver CPR/AED with optional First Aid
Heartsaver is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Basic Life Support (BLS)
BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, and in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
ACLS is geared towards advanced practice healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Target audiences include paramedics, nurses, physicians, dentists, physician assistants, etc.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. Target audiences include paramedics, nurses, physicians, dentists, physician assistants, etc.

AHA Instructor
This course is geared towards training professionals who need to teach American Heart Association courses. Our agency can provide this training to external parties, but is NOT currently accepting external instructors for alignment/affiliation at this time. Internal personnel wishing to become an AHA Instructor should inquire with their training officer for more details.
